Host: I am not a lawyer. It is in the name. We thought that was the honest place to start.
What this is
Host: Something happens. A letter from the landlord in Parramatta. A text from your boss on a Sunday night. A fine under the windscreen wiper in Newcastle. You do not know what the words mean, or what happens next, or who to ask.
Host: Each episode will take one of those, in plain English. What it usually means. What you can do now. Who can help, for free.
Why New South Wales gets its own show
Host: We started in Queensland. You might ask, why not just listen to those? Because the law is not the same over the border. Renting, work, fines, family. Different rules, different forms, different places to go.
